Firstly, Happy New Year to you all!
I hope coming back in January hasn’t been too difficult and you have all managed to keep the colds away!
For us at Building Careers it has been an extremely busy and focused few weeks, we have all come back from our Christmas break with drive and motivation to make a difference, find permanent candidates new career opportunities, work together with clients to assist in their recruitment, as well as filling short term gaps in clients peaks throughout their project. We certainly have been working every hour possible, with early starts, late evenings and inter office competitions judged on activity - Liverpool winning first followed by our Manchester office, not like the football last weekend I believe!
We are going into a few buoyant months especially within the public sector, budgets being spent before the end of financial year and our dedicated Social Housing team are working with key clients to provide the best candidates. Candidates that have been thoroughly vetted and referenced and in some cases DBS or List 99 checked as compliance is imperative to Building Careers UK. We won’t let you down!
At our Christmas party in December we had the pleasure of promoting 4 key members of our team, Naomi Duffy to Senior Resourcer, Tom Walker and Dan Cromack to Consultant and Kris Convery to Principal Consultant. All these promotions were well deserved and we had a great night celebrating their successes before heading off for the Christmas break.
We have 4 periods until our end of financial year which coincides with announcing the winners of the Dubai incentive. This is judged not just on fees but our customer service feedback and testimonials to ensure we are providing a top quality service to all customers. It’s an incentive consultants have been working on all year, so looking forward to the next few months on who will achieve their targets and get that precious seat on the plane to Dubai!
