Administration Assistant

Southport

I am currently looking for an experienced Administration Assistant in Southport working for one of our successful client who specialise in construction. You will be based from their head offices and will be reporting to the Senior Administrator.

This position is temporary to perm initially for around 12 weeks after this period once completed your probation you will receive a permanent contract.

We are looking for an ambitious, reliable and efficient candidate to join their team.

This is a full time position Monday to Friday.

Duties involved

* Accurate data input into accounting software
* Answer and direct phone calls
* Purchase orders
* Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc
* Write letters and emails on behalf of other office staff
* Photocopy and print out documents on behalf of other colleagues
* Support senior members of staff
* Sending enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors

Skills

* Good IT skills, ensuring accurate data recording
* Must be able to project a positive image of the EFT Group to our internal and external customers
* Prior administrative experience
* Excellent computer skills
* Attention to detail
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to tight deadlines
* Good time management skills
* Analytically minded
* Must be able to work well as part of a team, as well as performing to a high standard as an individual
* Able to use own initiative
* Good problem solver
* Willingness to take on new challenges and build knowledge by learning new systems

This salary is minimum wage £8.21 per hour
