Job Description

Our client are one of the fastest growing building contractors in the North West. Following a strong recent few years they are now undertaking a planned growth period and increasing company turnover with new works won, throughout the North West. In line with such, they have exciting opportunities for an ambitious Assistant Site Manager/General Foreman to join their teams, working on sites typically within the North West region. You will currently be at Foreman/Assistant Site Manager level, working across commercial new build and/or refurbishment sectors. You could be with a small contractor and looking for the opportunity to work on bigger projects and develop your career, or working for a national contractor at assistant level and looking to work in an environment which recognises and rewards hard work and ambition.

Typically you will work as No.3 of the operational site management team, reporting to a Site/Senior Site Manager and Project Manager, then all reporting into a visiting project manager. On site, you will typically spend much of your time driving programme, overseeing health and safety and monitoring and controlling quality, in line with company procedures and industry standards. You will be IT proficient with 'paperwork' duties to also be part of your remit.
