Job Description

My client are a leading privately owned construction contractor based in the North West who operate in most sectors of the Construction industry. Due to a strong order book of secured projects within their New Build Social Housing Division, they currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to join their team.

You will be working on new build Social Housing developments, both traditional build and timber frame up to 100 units in the Merseyside, Lancashire and Manchester areas.

Supporting the Site Manager, you will assist in the day to day running of the Site including supervision of staff and sub-contractors, managing health and safety on site to ensure compliance in accordance with current regulations, updating site programmes, attending Site progress meetings

The company are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager who has demonstrable experience of working as a Number 2 on new build residential projects. Other essential requirements include SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid, CSCS card, along with good communication and organisations skills.

In return for these skills, the company offer a highly competitive salary up to £35,000 plus company car or car allowance and a comprehensive benefits package
