Bid Administrator

Preston

I am currently looking for a Bid Administrator for one of our client's, a successful construction company based at their head office in Preston.

Ideally the successful candidate will have experience in administration and have the ability to be highly organised, great attention to detail and show initiative.

You will be working as part of the Bid team and supporting their needs and requirements

Duties

* Monitoring opportunities through business tracking software and portals;
* Liaising with colleagues to obtain relevant information for PQQs and bid documents;
* Supporting the Business Development department with bid preparation, including reading through the terms of the bid documents and assisting with the creation, updating and presentation of bid information such as, graphs, tables, team CVs and Case Studies;
* Liaising internally and externally to gather, analyse, and report on Key Performance Indicators on Framework and other projects;
* General administration support including typing, formatting and modifying documents, preparing reports, correspondence and spreadsheets, photocopying and scanning papers;
* Assisting with the organisation of exhibitions and events;

Essential Experience/Skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
* Excellent attention to detail;
* A proactive approach and able to show initiative and self-motivation;
* Demonstrable experience of prioritising workloads and working to deadlines;
* Ability to liaise with internally and externally at all levels;
* MS Office skills (advanced Word and PowerPoint, intermediate Excel); knowledge of InDesign software would be helpful but not essential as training will be provided;
* Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
* Own transport is essential.

This is initially for around 6 months

Salary negotiable deepening on experience

Monday - Friday 08.30 - 16.30
