Job Description

Our client delivers Roofing & Construction projects throughout the North West. Our well-established business is currently seeking to recruit Financial Assistant / Book Keeper who has demonstrable experience of the Construction industry. The Financial Assistant will report to the company Accountant and help support the day to day management of the accounting functions at business level ensuring that internal and external requirements are met.

Responsibilities: * Monthly management accounts * Financial reporting including annual statutory accounts * Quarterly forecasts * Tax computations and compliance * Ensure established processes and procedures are maintained and reviewed

Individual: * Good communication skills and able to influence all colleagues on relevant issues * Construction (or related) industry experience * Able to consistently deliver high standards with a proven ability to work under pressure and an eye for detail. * Excellent spreadsheet skills and ideally knowledgeable of Sage Software
