As a the Regional Business Development Manager for London and the South East, you'll be taking on an exciting challenge, but one that will carve a formidable career path should you succeed in building upon the strong foundations already laid.



Your new role - Regional Business Development Manager

As the Regional Business Development Manager, you'll be covering two main offices of operation, but working from home - giving you ultimate flexibility over your workload and diary. You will be expected to carry out the following duties:

* Maintain strong working relationships with existing clients in the public and private sector healthcare and education industries, the housing sector, and the commercial property sector
* Identify and react to new business opportunities across the London and South East region
* Work closely with the Head of Sales and the other 5 regional BDMs to develop business development strategies and strategic business partnerships with national clients (new and existing)
* Ensure that new and existing business opportunities are explored and maximised in line with the Group level and regional level business objectives
* Manage your own diary, working from home and travelling to new and existing clients when required
* Work closely with the commercial bid teams and the regional estimators in the refurbishment and property services (maintenance) divisions to effectively contribute to the bid process and ultimately support the winning of contracts of varying sizes
* Deliver tender presentations to director level clients



The Experience Required

You will be an experienced sales and business development professional, with experience in a business development executive or business development management role. Experience in the maintenance and refurbishment sectors is desirable but by no means essential; what is most important is your drive and ambition to succeed, sell and secure business.

You'll be a strong relationship builder, and skilled negotiator, making you capable of leveraging the power of internal and external networks of contacts to maximise business opportunities, selling the business services effectively to a variety of clients.

Your record of securing business and contracts will be demonstrable, and this will support you in succeeding through this recruitment process, and up through the ranks at this national contractor.

Salary and Remuneration

Our client is willing to offer an extremely competitive salary to secure the right individual for this role. You can expect a salary of up to £50,000 plus a company car and a benefits package that includes a bonus, laptop, company mobile and tablet, pension and private healthcare.
