Civils Site Agent (Rail)

Exciting Opportunities for an Experienced Civils Site Agent. Salary is dependent on experience £32,000- £35,000
My client is currently seeking a civil site agent with extensive rail experience to join a growing organisation based in North West.

Job Description:
The role will include day to day project delivery to include management of site activity, programming work and resources, health, safety and environmental planning and monitoring, client and sub-contractor liaison and reporting on project progress.
Communicate with commercial staff to ensure all records for measurement and payment purposes are prepared promptly, in appropriate form.
Communicate with general foreman to ensure adequate work preparation and resources availability.
Review with the agent regularly the performance, development and training needs of subordinate staff, including underperformance or potential resignations.
Advise agent of any potential commercial or contractual liabilities.
Set a personal example in health, safety and environmental matters by ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures through method statements, risk assessments and briefings.
Manage, supervise and mentor section, site and assistant engineers to ensure high levels of engineering control and generation of appropriate records.
Adopt and promote a cost-conscious attitude through efficient use of company resources.
Support the agent as required in operating the cost management system, the production of programmes and QF preparation.

Required experience:
Minimum 4 year experience working in heavy civil construction performing and supervising rail.
A.S. degree in construction management or similar or 4 years of direct experience;
Strong knowledge of Construction and Civil engineering in Rail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work to work to tight deadlines and achieve targets
Strong relationship builder who can work as part of a site team
Ability to plan and manage your time effectively
Conscientious and hard-working

£32,000- £35,000 dependent on experience
