Job Description

Local Authority based in North Wales currently looking for a Clerk of works to assist with spike in workload on a temporary basis.

The workload mainly consists of internal and external refurbishment, including kitchen and bathroom placements and internal decoration works. The role will be in the kitchen and bathroom team working on the Welsh Housing Quality Standard.

Experience working on the Decent Homes programme or the Welsh Housing Quality Standard and experience working as a Clerk of Works in a Multi-disciplined environment will be required. You should also have experience of working in the Public Housing sector and have the experience to build relationships with Clients and Tenants.

The main duties will be;

* Pre-Entry Surveys
* Inspect contractor workmanship
* Ensure the contract works are properly executed
* Retain records of all relevant matters
* Liaise with tenants to ensure satisfaction
* Health and safety checks

The salary will be negotiable based upon experience.
