Job Description

Our client is one of the UK's leading construction and development companies with a history of delivering large scale projects including Student Accommodation, Hotels and PRS schemes with values ranging from £20-£100m. They currently have a requirement for an Clerk of Works who has experience of high rise, mixed use developments to join their team.

Clerk of works

Based on site in London, ensuring that high standards of quality control are maintained on all contracts. You'll be holding, attending and chairing sub-contract meetings for your designated sections of work and producing internal reports to the Project Manager.

What you'll be doing

* Based on site, working as part of a team you'll be monitoring the new construction, renovations and repairs to the existing structures and site developments and to observe the construction, contract process, workmanship and ensure amiable coordination between the Group, the consultants and the client.

Who we're looking for

* Ideally you will have experience of working as a Clerk of Works for a main contractor / developer. The role is working for our Student Accommodation Division, so experience of large, high rise projects is advantageous.
* If you are able to demonstrate good managerial skills the Group is able to offer you the opportunity to develop and progress your career.
