Job Description

Our client is a specialist interior fit out and refurbishment company operating within the UK. They currently have a position for a Site Manager in Nottingham. They specialise in Commercial fit-out so experience in this is mandatory. People without this experience WILL NOT be considered.

With a proactive approach to project management and problem solving, their success can be attributed to a continued commitment to effectively manage projects to an on time delivery, within budget and continually communicating progress to their clients.

This approach has lead to the development of long-standing relationship with key clients to whom they offer a full range of rip out, fit-out and refurbishment within the commercial office sector.

Our client is looking for a motivated Site Manager to proactively manage an Commercial fit out in Nottingham. Successful candidates will be locally based with experience in Commercial Fit-Out works valued up to 5 Million.

You will be asked to have a proactive role in management of on site safety, project progress deadlines, budgets and sub contractors. You must have good communication skills and be able to develop first-class client relationships. The contract is for 20 weeks on a Commercial Building, however my client has an abundance of work to move the successful candidate onto once the project is completed. You will be required to manage the project from inception to completion.

* SMSTS
* Laptop
* Phone
* First Aid
* CSCS
* Available references

Roles and responsibilities will include…

* Attending site progress meetings
* Liaising with clients and their representative
* Ensure all works are signed off by the client
* Ensure effective Health & Safety
* Produce method statements and risk assessment
* Produce QA reports on final completion alongside Health and Safety File.
