Building Careers are currently working with a Social Housing provider operating within the Greater Manchester areas. The majority of their work is within reactive maintenance, working on schemes such as Fire Stop work, internal and external work programmes such as kitchens and bathrooms, central heating, roofing schemes, grounds maintenance projects. Their head office is in Greater Manchester and they currently have an ongoing temporary position for a Contracts Manager.

Working in the social housing sector, this business is proud of their strong customer satisfaction rating and are looking for operational managers who excel in providing strong customer care and effective management of schemes for both the housing association, the contractors and the customers.

Due to changes within their business areas, we are offering ongoing temporary contracts.

Our client is looking for a Contracts Manager who has previously worked for a social housing contractor or client and has hands on experience of managing a responsive repairs program of works. The key responsibilities within the area patch include:

* Reactive Maintenance
* Empty Homes Maintenance
* H&S, materials and fleet compliance
* Adaptations works
* Electrical Testing and Maintenance
* Pre and post inspections

Responsible for managing the safe and efficient delivery of the contract within a specific area patch to maximise customer experience and value for money (including materials, staff, administration, subcontractors and compliance)
