Contracts Manager - Planned Works

Contracts Manager (Planned Works)

Our client are a well-established and valued Social Housing contractor and they are looking to develop their own Planned Works managers and require an experienced Contracts Manager on a long term 10 month contract role. There is also the opportunity for the role to develop into a permanent vacancy for the right candidate.

The Contract Manager will be reporting directly to the Head of Planned Works based out of head office.

The Contract Manager will be responsible for the following:

- Running all planned works contracts valued anywhere between £250k - £3 million
- Manage, plan and execute all site activities in conjunction with the site teams.
- Ensuring contracts are completed on time and within budget
- Oversee a number of staff including various trades and tenant liaison officers

The successful candidate will have:
- Experience within Property and Housing either in a contractor or association
- Experience in managing Planned works contracts
- Experience in construction preferable
- Experience managing large site teams and subcontractors

The successful candidate will be reporting into the head office but this role will be a mobile role due to the candidate being responsible for the contracts around the Merseyside area. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware, hands on, highly motivated manager looking to progress their career.

You must possess a current Site Management certificate or HNC/NVQ in construction and the ability to display past experience within a social housing planned maintenance role.
