Job Description

A leading privately owned Building and Maintenance company with offices in both the South Lakes and West Cumbria are currently looking to appoint a Contracts Manager with extensive repairs and maintenance experience.

The Contracts Manager will be working for the Maintenance arm of the business which has recently been awarded a 5 year partnership with a Social Housing provider based in Cumbria. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for the mobilisation and ongoing management of a responsive maintenance contract of circa £2m per annum, which will also include some planned maintenance projects

You will be managing in house teams as well as overseeing various subcontractors to ensure they are delivering a professional service to time, safety, quality and cost, ensuring clients' expectations are met and performance targets achieved. You will also be working closely with the commercial team to ensure financial targets are met.

Suitable applicants must have demonstrable experience of running a repairs service within the social housing sector, either client or contractor side, along with excellent leadership skills.

The company are offering a basic salary up to £45,000 plus company car or allowance, pension and healthcare. This is a great opportunity to work for an extremely busy contractor who have a strong order book of workload already secured and are looking to further develop within the Cumbria region.
