Job Description

Owing to a vast increase in tenders won and internal promotions, I am currently working to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager for the small works division of my client.

They are a privately owned, long-standing and well-respected Construction Contractor, typically working in the North West, but also with operations beyond including Yorkshire and the Midlands. Ahead of a number of new project starts in early 2016 within their small works division they are looking to make an addition to the Contracts Management team with a view to the new appointment overseeing works up t circa £1.5m and typically covering up to 5 projects.

These projects are often within the educational sector but my client also work on industrial, health care, and wider commercial projects.

The above suggests you will need to be an experienced Contracts Manager, having served in that role for a minimum 5 years and have a proven experience of delivering multiple small-works projects.

The role attracts a salary of circa £50000 to £65000 but previous proven experience is a necessity. The package also includes a company car and market leading pension contributions and health care plans.

My client are looking to formally begin interviews in early January with a view to starting following any necessary notice periods.
