Design Coordinator

Our client are a well respected contractor working regionally across the North of England. As a group they are a nationally recognised organisation but their North West construction arm specialise in Education, Leisure, Public/Council building, House Building, Regeneration and Retail.

Due to their ongoing and increasing portfolio of work they now have a requirement for a Design Coordinator to join their education team, focusing on pre-construction aspects of new phases of existing schemes and future developments throughout the North West.

Roles & Responsibilities:

You will be involved in the design process on design & build projects keeping to time and to budget. You will also be involved in tender planning, buying and estimating on substantial and complex building projects.

You will be highly motivated, have excellent IT skills and be an effective communicator. The ideal candidate could have a mixed project scope background but with particular education sector experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to be part of a growing company and an exciting scope of developments.

The role attracts a negotiable salary of up to £40,000 plus associated package including car allowance, fuel card, pension, healthcare scheme etc.

note - location can be somewhat flexible with multiple satellite office throughout the region, as well as site locations to be based from on occasions.
