Job Description

My client is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer, to join their newly opened office in Warrington. The engineer will have a wide range of project experience, including commercial, health, education, leisure and residential projects

Key responsibilities include:

* Undertaking detailed electrical engineering building services design and calculations (using both software and knowledge to verify robust calculations).
* Ensuring service and project work are carried out to an excellent standard - within agreed deadlines and within budget.
* Preparation of technical specifications and schedules, set out time frames for deliverables, design development reports and innovative design solutions.
* Plan and manage CAD documentation of design work under guidance of more senior staff
* Represent the organisation at meetings with clients, other professionals and suppliers.
* Manage workload of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians (including verification of quality) and support less experienced engineers to achieve excellent standards

Experience:

* Evident experience in a consulting engineering environment working across a broad range of projects
* Ability and willingness to take responsibility for excellent design delivery
* Demonstrable experience of building upon academic learning and the application of this knowledge into practical engineering situations.
* Ability to solve technical problems and how these might make a positive impact on a project.
A professional outlook, able to work on your own initiative to meet internal and external deadlines
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fluent written and spoken English.
* Membership of an appropriate Chartered Institute (CIBSE and/or IET) (ADVANTAGEOUS)

It would be highly advantageous if you also display:

* Knowledge of REVIT software.
* Membership of an appropriate Chartered Institute (CIBSE and/or IET)
* Working knowledge of CAD software, ideally teamed with familiarity with AMTEC and DIALAX

Salary:

Salary is Negotiable (Dependant on Experience)
