Job Description

Our client - Your New Business:

An exceptional, well known Liverpool business specialising in supplying trade materials to construction and refurbishment businesses is seeking an ambitious field sales professional to join their growing, highly profitable business.

Based in Aintree, you'll maintain relationships with existing clients through strong aftercare, and be gutsy enough to find new business amongst the regions contractors and subcontractors. If you're keen on making a name for yourself and being driven by success and financial reward, this is a perfect opportunity to take on this challenge.

Your duties and responsibilities as Sales Executive (Business Development Executive):

* Build and maintain lasting relationships with new and existing customers, who will include housing associations, construction contractors and subcontractors
* Familiarise yourself with all things construction - you won't need to be an expert to get the job, but to succeed you'll need to develop your knowledge to portray your expertise to clients - and to sell the products and services
* Developing repeat business to maximise growth
* Travel around the Merseyside region to meet with prospective clients, as well as conduct comprehensive after sales service

Skills and Experience Required:

Experience in a sales role will be essential - but more important than your sector knowledge is your personality, your drive and your will to succeed. Although experience selling to construction organisations will be useful, don't be put off if you're not from those circles - your ability to self-teach and hunger for knowledge and success will mean you get up to speed really quickly.
You'll need to be:
* Driven, ambitious and persistent
* A people person - a strong relationship builder with no qualms about developing new relationships
* Experience in a business to business sales role will be highly advantageous

Salary and Remuneration:

A fantastic basic package of up to £24,000 plus a fantastic commission structure means your earnings have the potential to soar and reach lucrative heights. The base salary will be negotiable depending on experience, but we are looking to appoint a market-leading professional who stands out from the crowd, and someone who the business can look to develop.
