Job Description

Our client are an award-winning multi-sector group with a long history of and forward procession of works throughout the UK. Within their North West region, owing to a vast increase in work, they have a requirement for an experienced Finishing Foreman to join their successful team.

They operate across construction sectors including education, healthcare, hotel & Leisure, residential, commercial & industrial. Turnover is in excess of £80m with a further growth plan in place to continue their strong repeat client relationships and a strong pipeline of work for the coming 5 years.

Candidates must have a trade background, preferably in joinery and must hold as a minimum: current driving licence, SSSTS or SMSTS and First Aid (3 day course). They will have worked in a Finishing role previously.
Computer skills would be an advantage, but not essential. The ability to procure materials in conjunction with the Site Manager is a must. This role is predominantly on projects throughout the North West but with nationwide coverage the company will expect an open attitude to working away.

The role will involve supporting the Site Management team in the following aspects;

* Effective Health and Safety Management on live projects.
* Deliver quality projects within set time parameters.
* Achieve customer satisfaction through effective handover and aftercare.
* Assist in the establishment and maintenance of companies site image.
* Management of staff ensuring they carry out their duties in accordance with policies and procedures.
* Achievement of set project profit targets.
