Job Description

The Health & Safety Advisor role:
This is a fantastic construction Health & Safety Advisor position with one of Lancashire's most exciting fit-out and construction contractors. From the word go, you'll be working with a dynamic Health & Safety team, supporting the business with its construction and fit-out projects for high profile, national clients.

Based predominantly in the office in Blackpool, you'll focus on driving a positive Health & Safety culture among directors, managers and operatives. You'll also be responsible for producing permits to work, method statements and reviewing procedures to align them with HSE ACOPs. The most important part of the role? Providing timely advice either in the office, over the phone or on site (if required) to site teams about their operations.

More about the business:
A well-established SME (£30m turnover+) based in Blackpool, specialising in high profile fit-out, and construction projects. They have a secure, full order book of varied work secured over the next few years, and are well-known for being an excellent company to work for, as well as a high quality contractor for national clients in the retail, leisure and commercial sectors.

Your skills and experience:
You'll hold a minimum of a NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction certificate, and will have some demonstrable experience of operating in a Health & Safety role in a construction-related environment (e.g. social housing, construction, fit-out). We are looking for someone who is keen on a challenge and is looking for a role in which they can develop themselves, along with use their experience to drive standards across multiple sites by building strong working relationships.

Salary, Remuneration & other benefits on offer:
The successful person will be rewarded with a starting salary of £30,000 plus company benefits. Where you need to go to site, you'll be reimbursed business mileage, or pool vehicles can be used.
