Industrial Electrical Contracts Manager

Main Purpose of the Job:

As Electrical Contracts Manager you will be the main point of contact for the customer, visiting customer sites you will provide designs, quotations and detailed method statements for projects to ensure the efficient running and effective utilisation of all resources associated with the contract.

The role of Electrical Contracts Manager is key in developing customer relationships and ensuring that a quality service is provided to the customer at all times whilst optimising the commercial gain for the company.

Relationships:

1 Responsible to the Operations Director
2 Working close with Contracts Managers of other Group companies.
3 Liaison with the Business Development/Sales Team, Technical Department, Operations staff, Group HR and Finance Teams We are looking for an organised, dynamic and reliable Industrial Electrical Contracts Manager to join our successful team. The role will cover the southern region of the UK and include:-

Main Tasks of the Job:

* To support the Southern branches with any electrical requirements
* Assist with site inspections/job planning and preparation of quotations that allow the Company to remain competitive whilst maximising profitability for the business
* Work closely with the Branch management teams (manager/operations/contracts managers/administration staff) and blue collar tradesmen to provide both technical and operational support to meet the demands of our Quality Standard procedures.
* Ensure close liaison between the site and the office, oversee working times are complied with, and time sheets completed accurately.
* Maintenance of orderly and comprehensive job files
* Be responsible that operatives are working safely and effectively to meet the demands of the project and time lines.
* Complete site inspections and provide detailed method statements and risk assessments to meet customer requirements; Present RAMS and tool-box talks to tradesmen & sub-contractors, amend them accordingly to meet any changes in scope
* Ensure all tradesmen are adhering to our strict roles with regards to wearing of PPE

Ensure that contracts are fully compliant with health and safety, quality and environmental legislation, in addition to AIS policies and procedures. Ensuring that at all times, staff are working safely and effectively to meet the demands of the project within the set timescales.
