Job Description

We at Building Careers UK are currently recruiting for a number of Generic Housing Officer Vacancies based in numerous locations across North Wales. They are looking for various levels of experience and skill, which will be reflected in the salary. Locations are based across North Wales to suit location of the candidate. We will be in the North Wales area over the next few weeks and will require candidates to have a quick interview with ourselves prior to application.



The role will be to ensure a high quality housing management service is provided to defined neighbourhoods achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through active engagement with tenants and residents, support for the development of sustainable communities, co-ordination and direction of resources at a local level to address resident priorities, delivery of performance targets and through the implementation of tenancy conditions and organisational policies and procedures.

The post holder will be an ambassador on their neighbourhood patch with responsibility and accountability for forming effective partnerships with residents and other stakeholders to deliver an excellent customer focused service. You will also be needed to proactively identify the needs and priorities of the community, in consultation with residents and agree and take forward local solutions ensuring effective accountability to and communication with local residents and stakeholders (ie local councillors).

The post holder will deal effectively with breaches of tenancy, low level anti-social behaviour and nuisance, in the context of policies and procedures, to ensure excellent tenancy and neighbourhood management. The candidate will lead on deliverable neighbourhood planning for their patch and are using the plan for the benefit of excellent service delivery and to identify where we need to target resources to address economic, social, environmental and physical issues within neighbourhoods. The post holder will co-ordinate and deliver commitments made in our plan and drive forward improvements across our neighbourhoods.

Ensure a high standard of estate management is provided to all residents through inspections in liaison with the Estate Services Team and Property Management staff.
You will also need to establish a productive working relationship with the Income officers/income team and ASB team.
