Job Description

Operations Manager required for a national contractor working in the social housing sector. Salary upwards of £50k (Negotiable) plus car and other benefits.
New and exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join an established contractor, operating on a national scale, aiming to consistently deliver quality services to their clients.

With a strong track record of delivering repairs, planned maintenance and new build developments, this leading organisation is now looking to appoint an inspiring leader to drive a sense of pace and service excellence through the company to ensure that optimal productivity levels are achieved at all times.

You will be the subject expert for the operations team overseeing the smooth running of day-to-day operations, you will act as a key member of the management team, working closely with the MD to deliver strategic business objectives. It will be your priority to embed a culture of continuous improvement and lead a multi-trade workforce in the delivery of a high quality service to customers.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
* Owning and delivering a responsive repairs and voids service to meet and exceed targeted service level agreements, driving improvements in cost efficiency.
* Management of new build projects
* Accountability for securing margin delivery across relevant work streams and leading delivery through sub-contractors in line with policies and procedures.
* Providing inspiring leadership and a sense of pace to the Repairs team, ensuring engagement with the MD and key internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will bring a solid track record in repairs and maintenance, ideally within the social housing sector, but experience within a commercial organisation would also be desirable. It is essential that you have previous management experience and some new build experience.
