Planner (Large Regional Contractor)

My client are a large regional Contractor operating in the North West, who are currently seeking a Planner to join the established but expanding team. The company is a leading organisation with a track record in delivering Design & Build and Refurbishment projects across a variety of sectors, with project values ranging up to £15m.

They have secured various major projects which span the next 5 years; the successful candidate will work on these competitively negotiated tender projects with a number of valued repeat business clients. These projects will be within new build and refurb within education, commercial, residential and health sectors.

As a Planner you will be involved in both tender stage planning and also on-site construction activity. The work is varied in sector offering experience in a broad range of contract types, values and complexities. The real benefit is that the majority of our projects are based in the North West ensuring that your projects are all easily accessible within the region.

As a Planner:

You will be an experienced individual with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Planner.
Your project experience will be within New Build and Refurb Contracts ideally with a Main Contractor.
You will have extensive experience in creating programmes of work, detailing and cost resource loading
You will be confident on your ability with projects from £5m-£15m.
You will be Proficient in the use of Asta Project and other MS packages
You will hold a Full UK Driving License
You will be confident and well organised.
You will possess a High level of communication and client facing skills.
You ideally will possess a relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc).

The role carries a leading package of circa £45000 basic salary + car allowance and associated benefits including pension contributions and healthcare package.
