Job Description

Nationwide Multi-Disciplined Consultancy currently looking to add a Principal Designer to their team in Liverpool.

My client are a well-established Building Consultancy who have been established for over 70 years. They have multiple offices throughout the UK enabling them to provide their services in every area no matter how remote. The organisation themselves pride themselves in their unity as an organisation. Each consultant and employee act to ensure that there is a fantastic atmosphere within the office and that their client's requirements are met with fantastic service and a smile.

Their Liverpool office is situated in the Heart of Liverpool's business district in a beautifully sculpted historic building with tonnes of heritage. Their office itself is located near the summit of the building with wonderful views of the city including the river Mersey. The office space is extremely well decorated and is a pleasure to spend time in. The organisation's motivational words are echoed across the walls to highlight their key values.

Due to the office's location in the Business District transport links are extremely easily accessible. There are four train stations within walking distance and a bus station not far from the area. There are also numerous restaurants, bars and coffee shops in the surrounding streets, so plenty of places to grab some lunch or a quick drink after work!

They are looking to add a Principal Designer to their well experienced team. They work on a wide range of projects including; Commercial, Retail, Offices and Education. They are also known for their unique projects including a wide range of sports stadia.

Their ideal candidate will have experience in the Commercial sector as a minimum. The organisation act as Principal Designer for a multitude of clients on projects across the UK, this has become a great revenue stream for the office which has led to the requirement for them to expand their team. For this reason they require someone with a good deal of experience in a Principal Designer function, ideally working with similar high profile clients.

They can offer a fantastic level of career progression, with them experiencing growth for the past few years including during the recession. There is room to progress through the ranks up to Associate Director and then up to Director Level with the required training and support given by the company. All employees from Graduate Level are also taught Business Development skills to enhance their abilities. The organisation see this as a key area of personal growth which they offer full support with.
