They are expanding their Design and Health & Safety operations in a pioneering move, creating a Principal Designer service to clients. In a thriving construction and fit-out market, and with complex CDM regulation changes, this move goes a long way to showing how far ahead this prestigious business is.
The role offers a unique opportunity to be the figurehead of a Principal Designer department, offering the Principal Designer service to prestigious retail clients on major fit-out and maintenance contracts. Using pre-construction information and a review of designs, you will combine your operational background, your knowledge of CDM (2015), design processes, Health & Safety plans and risk assessments, and your relationship-building skills to:
* consider buildability and Health & Safety risks
* ensuring clients and relevant duty holders are aware of their responsibilities
* draw on the knowledge of the Health & Safety, Design and Project Management teams
* provide a market-leading package of Health & Safety and Project design services on fast paced, challenging projects.
This is a role for an all-round construction-design expert, but one that will be exciting, challenging and rewarding.
The remuneration for success in this industry-leading role is an excellent salary and package; £55,000 - £60,000 salary plus a generous £7,500 car allowance and fantastic benefits including healthcare and an excellent pension scheme.
