Job Description

They know have an opportunity for a Procurement Manager. Duties as follows:

Roles and responsibilities

* Maximize profits
* Responsible for procurement and delivery of supplies in support of high value building contracts across the UK for a major construction company.
* Liaise closely with Area manager, project managers, estimators, quantity surveyors and site managers.
* Priorities requisitions / tasks in order to meet tight deadlines and budgets.
* Negotiate annual rebates & 3rd Party Rebates
* Establish framework agreements and supply chains throughout the country
* Value engineering/cost comparison
* Product knowledge / continuously ensuring awareness of new materials
* Issue suppliers with current construction drawings
