Job Description

Working with an established Main Contractor of over 80 years we have an exciting opportunity. Following recent and sustainable increase in work they are looking to appoint a Site Manager to work on medium framework schemes up to 10m on a permanent basis. Typically these projects will be in the Education, Healthcare & Commercial Sectors. Locations of such will vary throughout Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire.

You will be an experienced Project Manager, preferably from a trades background, and having operated at such level for minimum 5 years, working on framework schemes for other main contractors.



Project Manager Duties:

Setting up sites prior to the commencement of projects, working with Contracts Managers to ensure smooth transition onto site.

Liaising with the client and professional staff to report progress throughout the duration of the projects.

Inducting and overseeing sub-contractors & directly employed staff.

Follow pre-set programme for full project.

Adhering to H&S legislation and playing a key role in ensuring other site staff do so.



Site Manager Requirements:

SMSTS, First Aid & CSCS Card.

Worked on Education & Public Sector works preferably within a framework environment, locally.

The ability and flexibility to work on Sites throughout the Manchester & Lancashire areas.

Looking to secure a permanent position with a well-respected contractor.
