Project manager-Liverpool

Social housing-Temporary

My client is a reputable housing association across Merseyside who have won awards for being an outstanding employer in the region. Together we are looking for an experienced project manager to manage several small schemes within social housing.

These projects will consist of planned and cyclical works, managing site managers and tradesmen. The right candidate will have worked either on client or contractor side ensuring all projects are on time and within budget, and completed to a high standard.

Projects will include (list not exhaustive): fire door installation, window replacements, painting and decorating schemes, kitchen & bathroom replacements.

Your skills knowledge and experience required include but not limited to:

* Strong communication skills
* Experience managing more than one small project at any given time
* Ability to motivate and support staff, including other managers
* Ability to liaise with internal and external personnel - specifically site teams, clients and subcontractor personnel in a social housing environment (experience on cyclical or planned small works would be an advantage)
* Meeting deadlines
* Enthusiastic and attentive, with a commitment to development
* Qualifications and training required


* CSCS Card (Manager level) or SMSTS - desirable
* Valid First Aid at Work certificate
* Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation will be highly advantageous
* NVQ construction management (desirable)

This position is initially temporary, running until at least March/April. The rate is negotiable for the right candidate, but will be around £21 - £23 / hour
