Job Description

Project Manager based in the Lancashire and Greater Manchester region for a main contractor specialising in commercial new build and refurbishment, social and private housing, conversions, extensions and refurbishment. Offering excellent package and benefits. 

Our client is a main contractor based in Greater Manchester with a turnover of circa £50m. They specialise in new build construction including commercial, industrial education, health-care, social and private housing etc. Due to an expansion in tenders won they have an immediate requirement for an experienced Project Manager to join the team. 

Initial projects will be in Greater Manchester or Cheshire but a willingness to travel for future projects would be advantageous. Initial projects will be commercial new build units of circa £5m-£10m 

You will be expected to carry out the following duties:-
* Management of on site operations
* Operate as 'No.1' on site with site team and Site Management reporting in to you.
* Liaise with client as representative of the company. 
* Management of projects from inception to completion
* Overseeing of all H&S aspects. 

To be considered, candidates must have extensive experience on new build commercial and industrial projects of circa £5m-£10m.

Minimum requirements would be CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualifications with degree qualification in construction management being advantageous. 

Salary is negotiable and dependent upon experience.
