Job Description

Our client is a specialist Contractor. They specialise in Retail and Commercial Interiors. They have an immediate requirement for a Project Manager. They typically get involved with projects from £1-8 million.



The ideal candidate will be located in the North West of England. The position will be based predominately in the Northwest and the applicant will need to prove 5 year's recent experience as a Project Manager working on Commercial Fit-Out projects such as Offices. Successful candidates will need to be self-motivated, commercially and contractually astute, dynamic and driven with good inter personal skills. A good eye for detail and finish is essential.

Our client is looking for a motivated, well established Project Manager with previous experience in Design and Build and Traditional Building to fit into an ever growing organisation with high aspirations. They are ideally looking for someone with a solid work history in Commercial and Retail Fit-Out 70/30 split in favour of Commercial. Please only apply if you have this experience.



Typical projects my client will undertake are:-



D&B projects comprising, CAT B Fit Out, usually including some new or modified air conditioning, partitions, doors, fancy reception joinery, finishes and furniture. You must be familiar with the restraints a Clients team can place on operations.

The role will involve:-



* Meeting clients to cost projects by putting together a proposal
* Site Visits
* Commercially Aware
* Contractually Astute
* Managing multiple projects
* Health & Safety
* Ordering materials/arranging the labour / financial reporting for the project
* Project management from start to finish ensuring a timely and in budget completion.
* A good people manager and communicator, working closely with the clients and site staff
* Building a rapport and respect will play and huge part in the job position.



Successful candidates will have:-



* SMSTS
* Experience with CAT B Office interiors
* CSCS
* First Aid
* CIOB accredited (desirable)
* Degree Qualified (desirable) in Construction
* 4 Years main Contractor Experience
* Be familiar with ISO9001 and 14001
* Commercially Aware and Contractually Astute
* Experience of working with Design Teams

You will be responsible for the safe and profitable delivery of projects under your control, ensuring these projects are completed to the satisfaction of the company and their respective client.
