Job Description

Our client is one of the largest privately owned regional construction solutions provider in the North West.

With the mainstream construction division they currently have a requirement for a Project Quantity Surveyor.

They deliver 'cradle to grave' building services to public and private sector clients across our major international geographies and sectors. Due to an increase in volume they require a Project Quantity Surveyor to have sole responsibility of projects from inception through to final account up to the value of £5m.

Specifically the role will include:

* preparation, control and monitoring of monthly costs, reports and cash flows
* client liaison - including preparation and submission of interim valuations, raising of invoices,
* pricing variations for additional works etc.
* compiling subcontract packages, sending out enquiries, preparing comparisons and negotiating
* packages prior to placing orders.
* placing subcontract orders.
* monitoring of key subcontractor accounts and payment of interim valuations through to final account settlement.
* settlement of Main Contract Final Account.

Their main contracting division covers a diverse range of projects such as Education, Health, Leisure, Commercial, and Mixed Development to name but a few.
