Job Description

Prestigious Quantity Surveying firm in Cheshire currently looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

My client are a Quantity Surveying firm based in Cheshire who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their family-like team. They are an extremely close knit organisation who value their employees and endeavour to treat them with the utmost respect. They are a rather niche organisation with regards to the work that they undertake, they mainly deal with high-value residential premise. They have also diversified their disciplines and also work on behalf of commercial clients, work for contractors and work for sub-contractors. This varied workload ensures that during recession they are extremely resilient as they focus their efforts on different work-streams when times get tough.

Their office is based in an extremely picturesque location in rural Cheshire. It is certainly not how you would imagine a Quantity Surveying Practises' office, being in such a rural location, regardless of this its location and scenic views certainly are a thing of beauty. There is also plenty of car parking available on site, a couple of acres worth, so there is no need to ever worry about bumping your car in those tight city centre spaces ever again.

They require a Quantity Surveyor to come on board to assist with their heavy workload. The majority of their work is in Cheshire area, however they do routinely pick up work in the Merseyside and Greater Manchester areas. They also have an office based in one of the most prestigious postcode areas in London. This is simply because the majority of their clients premise are in these prestigious areas.

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with a large amount of Residential experience. High-end Residential premise experience would be required, however Social Housing, House-builder or Main Contractor experience will be considered. The ideal candidate would also have a mixture of Consultancy and Contractor experience due to their diverse workload.

Having such a varied workload means that no employee will ever be left doing the same job day in day out. Every day will be different. All of their employees are fantastic Quantity Surveyors, with experience in a range of Residential and Commercial Projects. The organisation are also breaking into several other sectors, further proving their diversity.

This really is a great time to join this organisation. They are truly thriving and are certainly in need of the last talented individual to enable them to push forward their expansion.

Salary is 100% negotiable based upon experience, but it can be expected to be around £35,000 to £60,000 depending on experience. They are willing to take APC candidates right up to extremely Senior MRICS QS.

If you have an interest in high-end residential projects, PQS, Contractor or Housing background this could be the perfect role for you.
