Job Description

My client is a specialist contractor in the construction sector. They are looking for an experience Sales Ledger Assistant for an immediate start to undertake the following responsibilities:

* Ensure effective and accurate sales administration from actually raising the invoice, chasing for payment, dealing with queries/disputes which may arise and then posting the receipts via Excel & SAGE.
* Debt chasing - Experience is essential in this area.
* Ensure all sales ledger queries are resolved in a timely manner.
* General office duties / telephone / filing etc.

The successful candidate must be experienced with SAGE Line 50, Excel and Outlook and a friendly helpful approach is necessary at all times.

The role is for a confident individual who is precise in their working practices, excellent organisation and communication skills on various levels are also required.

The candidate must have the ability to work as part of a team and also on an individual basis.

There are benchmarks of targets/deadlines within this role, therefore the individual must be keen to achieve.

The candidate must be adaptable to changing working practices.

This is a full time permanent position; the working hours are 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday. There is a three-month probationary period.
