Job Description

Here at Building Careers UK we are currently recruiting for a new role based in Bangor, North Wales. We are currently working on a number of social housing vacancies within the North Wales area, please call for more information on any of these vacancies.

We are currently looking for a long term temporary Scheme Manager to start ASAP based in Bangor. The role will be based on a 35 hour week and all applicatnts must have a current DBS in place to be successful. Interview dates will take place on the 30th June, if you would be unavailable on this date, please alert us at the time of application.

A requirement for this role is that you must be able to hold a basic conversation in Welsh. This is a new requirement under welsh government regulations.

The role will require the successful applicant to monitor, manage and provide a high quality housing management and support service to all service users at [NWH's Homeless Hostel / NWH's Direct Access Hostel / Mental Health Scheme / Supported Housing Schemes / Outreach and Resettlement Schemes / Homeless Prevention Schemes / Agency Managed Schemes / Youth Justice Scheme / Shared Houses] and related move-on accommodation, in line with the service specification and requirements of funders and relevant stakeholders.

To supervise, manage, motivate and develop the work of staff, taking part in the recruitment process as required.

To ensure the delivery of an effective and efficient housing management and support service.
