Job Description

I have an opportunity for a talented, motivated and ambitious Senior Operations Manager to lead a their National Framework Division.

My client is a specialist fit out and refurbishment company operating on a Nationwide basis, however you will be based from their North West office. A long standing established contractor, with a turnover over circa £300m, they have built an enviable reputation of delivering a quality service, which has resulted in the majority of their work being secured through repeat business and framework agreements.

Working closely with the Senior Management Team, the Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for managing clients within their National Frameworks and the overall management of both the Operational and Commercial teams to provide a quality product efficiently, safely and professionally; within set budgets and agreed timescales, ensuring highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Skills required;

* Experience of leading and managing Operational and Commercial teams from tender stage through to delivery of projects
* Proven track record of successfully delivering National Framework fit out projects with blue chip clients ideally within the Retail sectors
* Strong industry networks and relationships
* Commercially astute
* Experience of developing new business
* Knowledge of Contract Law
* Possess strong communication skills and be able to communicate with all levels of personnel.

Key Responsibilities;

* Overseeing multiple Contracts from tender stage through to handover and completion.
* Producing monthly cost reports for all planned and current projects.
* Monitoring existing projects to identify potential problems and provide commercially sound solutions.
* Working with the project teams to ensure that projects are delivered in a profitable and timely manner.
* Preparing, in conjunction with the MD and appropriate team members, project budgets.
* Assist with preparation of the Company's Business Plan.
* Resolving contractual and commercial problems.
* Maintaining existing client relationships, as well as helping to develop new clients and further develop the business
* Ongoing development and training of all staff members
