Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting new challenge? Have you previously worked on a social housing contracts? If so, we may be able to help you!
I am currently working with a leading, UK contractor and regeneration group to find a successful and proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Lancashire working on internal & external works within social housing.
The role of the Quantity Surveyor is to take responsibility, ownership and accountability for the successful management and control all aspects of the commercial / financial and contractual elements of designated projects to control and maximise the company's profitability, protect the company's legal and contractual obligations under the contract and to proactively manage the control of all commercial issues.
This is to include ensuring applications and valuations are completed in line with the contract terms, that sub-contractors receive prompt payment and are procured in line with our contractual obligations and Commitments to Subcontractors. In addition, ensuring cost reports and the like are managed and completed on time.
