The Company

Building Careers UK is a rapidly expanding and growing Recruitment Business that is seeking ambitious and entrepreneurial individuals who have the desire to start a professional career in Recruitment, if not already within the recruitment sector.

As an organisation we are currently embarking on the next stage of our growth strategy and hence looking to recruit extremely high calibre individuals who have the determination and desire to want to be generating sales and fees. BCUK specialise within the construction, social housing, trades and labour, mechanical engineering, civils and architecture markets providing both temporary and permanent services to both public and private sector clients.

About the Role

As a consultant at Building Careers you will manage and develop your own portfolio of clients and candidates nationwide and the ideal individual needs to have excellent communication and organisational skills dealing with all levels of employers and employees. You will be expected to build and maintain strong working relationships, attend client meetings, face to face candidate interviews, and be able to manage the whole recruitment process.

If you are a graduate looking to start a career in recruitment you will receive excellent training and support from your coach and peers. Alongside training, you will be working closely with consultants in the team to give you all the tools required to become a successful consultant.

The Person

As mentioned above this is a ‘hands on’ role so experience in the full recruitment process as outlined above is essential.  To join us YOU MUST have;

  • Entrepreneurial personality

  • Driving licence

  • Proven sales background and a hunger to succeed

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • To be confident, proactive and self-motivated

  • A real flair for developing business and maintaining relationships

  • Proven successful billings

  • Good knowledge of local business

  • Excellent communication skills, both over the phone or face to face

  • A consistent stable track record in recruitment

  • Time management and organisational skills
