Job Description

You're role is to ensure that all work is carried out on site and to ensure that work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity and safety.

Responsible for

* Work within the schedules and targets provided by Managers or clients.
* Deal with Clients, Tradesmen and Subcontractors.
* Attend Appraisals and meeting with client.
* Effectively applies Companies methodology and enforces project standards.
* Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.
* Manage and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation including Company policies.
* Liaise with surveying organization to develop engineering control points and transfer from thereon
* Carry out quality checks on in situ concrete including pre-pour check sheets requiring checking of reinforcement details
* Compile daily diary
* Carry out weekly safety inspections in line with site management
* Raise structural technical queries with consultants
* Any duty that may be properly deemed by the Company Directors or Senior Managers to be part of the role of Site Engineers

Person Specification

* SMSTS or SSSTS - essential
* CSCS - Management - essential
* Must be able to assess and compile RAMS as necessary in conjunction with site management - essential
* Temporary works coordinator trained as a minimum Temporary works supervisor
* Must be experienced in piling, groundworks and high rise reinforced concrete structures

* A team player with a keen approach to new challenges / learning.
* Able to communicate clearly, confidently and courteously.
* Able to use tact and discretion, particularly when dealing with cliental.
* Standards orientated with a 'good eye for detail'
* Smart, professional appearance.
* Sense of fun with a positive outlook, a 'smiley' people person

Hours: Monday - Friday, 40+

Holiday: 5. 6 weeks (20 days) per annum + statutory bank holidays = 28
