Site Manager, New Build Social Housing

A medium sized Contractor based in the North West are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to join their highly successful Social Housing Division. Due to the award of several new projects in the North West, they are looking for a high calibre Site Manager who has previous experience of managing New Build Social Housing Projects as a Number 1 Site Manager

Responsibilities

* Reporting into a Contracts Manager you will have overall responsibility for projects from inception to completion as the number 1 Site Manager
* Ensuring all works are carried out safely, to programme, within budget and in accordance with all design standards.
* Management of Subcontractors and Direct Labour
* Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings

* Maintaining quality control procedures



To be considered for the above role as Site Manager, applicants must have the following:

* Previous experience in a similar role, managing new build Social Housing Projects
* Experience of both Traditional Build and Timber frame Houses is preferred
* SMSTS
* CSCS
* First Aid Certificate
* Scaffold Inspection Certificate

The company will offer a highly competitive salary up to £45,000, car or car allowance and other company benefits.
