Job Description

Location: Liverpool

A leading social housing developer are currently in the market for a number one site manager.
My client currently has a turnover in excess of £25m and are growing year on year. They have become a dominant force within their marketplace and are now a market leader.

My client is starting a brand new traditional build development of 80 social housing units and apartments in Merseyside and require an experienced site manager with previous experience working on new build social housing projects. In addition, my client are looking for someone who is confident in taking projects from start through to completion. The successful candidate will be confident with all aspects of groundworks, roads, sewers, etc.
You will be enthusiastic, receptive and open to new ideas. You will be confident in your ability as a site manager with a proven track record of few reportable items on the job.

You will be joining a tight knit team who get on well during work hours but also enjoy socialising outside of work.
My client is offering up to £45,000 plus £5k car allowance for the successful candidate.
My client is looking for an experienced, capable and confident candidate with a current SMSTS and First Aid Certificate. The ideal candidate will also hold a CSCS card (black or platinum), scaffold inspection and an NVQ5 or similar.
Your skills knowledge and experience required include but not limited to:

New build residential experience is essential for the role

Previous experience working for national house builders is preferable

Strong communication skills

Ability to motivate and support staff

Ability to liaise with internal and external personnel

Meeting deadlines

Enthusiastic

Flexible

Attention to detail

Able to embrace training

Qualifications and training - essential

CSCS Card at Site Manager Level

Valid SMSTS certificate

Valid First Aid at Work certificate

Qualifications and training - desirable

NVQ Level 3-4, BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar

Valid Scaffold Appreciation certificate

Experience

Trade experience and site experience preferable

Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation

Special requirements

Current full UK driving licence
