Job Description

Job Title: Site Manager

Location: Merseyside

My client is an established builder and provider of affordable / social housing, and they are quickly becoming a dominant force within the social housing market place. They are currently looking for an experienced new build site manager to join their team to manage the build of a two-phase new build housing development in Merseyside.

The project is already underway and my client requires another number one site manager to manage phase two of the development which is circa 50 traditional build units.

The salary on offer will be around £42,000 plus £4.5k car allowance (negotiable depending on experience) for the successful candidate.

We are looking for an experienced, capable and confident candidate with a current SMSTS and First Aid Certificate as a minimum, and someone who has a demonstrable record in delivering new build housing projects. The ideal candidate will also hold a CSCS card (black or platinum), scaffold inspection and an NVQ5 or similar (HNC etc.).

Your skills, knowledge and experience required include but not limited to:

* New build residential / social housing experience

* Ability to motivate and support staff

* Ability to liaise with internal and external personnel / contractors

* Meeting deadlines

* Attention to detail and knowledge of Health & Safety legislation

* Able to embrace training Qualifications and training - essential CSCS Card at Site Manager Level, valid SMSTS certificate and First Aid at Work certificate
