Job Description

A well- established Main Building Contractor based in the Cheshire area are currently looking to appoint a Site Manager to manage new build and refurbishment projects up to £2million throughout the North West.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a solid track record of successfully delivering a wide range of refurbishment and new build projects up to £2million as the Number 1 Site Manager. You will be from a joinery background but also have a strong knowledge of delivering projects from groundwork stage. SMSTS, First Aid and a relevant Health & Safety qualification are also required.

Site Manager Duties include:

* Supervision and checking of all labour and sub-contractors works
* Monitoring overall progress against programmes.
* Liaison with clients and the management team in striving to achieve good standards of quality
* Produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
* Ensure that the correct materials and plant have been ordered
* Monitor the performance of the workforce on a regular basis and provide training and support where necessary
* Some Setting Out

Salary is up to £42000 plus package
