Job Description

Our client are an award winning construction and development company who have an exciting opportunity within their dynamic and progressive business. With over 50 employees the company have a stable workforce where Senior Management champion a supportive culture which is displayed via its hands on involvement in all schemes. The company have strategically grown turnover to a level which requires additional support therefore they have a requirement for a number one Site Manager to join the team and take responsibility for a £5m conversion of a listed building into student accommodation in Preston.

As a Senior Site Manager, you’ll be monitoring the working programme, managing subcontractors and working closely with the Quantity Surveyor. You’ll also be arranging and attending weekly meetings on site to reporting information to the Contract Manager. Based on site, you’ll be responsible for managing the works on site to ensure the project is completed safely, profitably and on time. The Site Manager will communicate with the sub-contractors ensuring project requirements are met, review site wastage, and review and manage H&S procedures.

Ideally you will have experience of working on Heritage buildings.
