Location: Cheshire (East)

Are you looking to move away from PLC house builders?

A privately-owned Cheshire based volume house builder are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to manage their new build housing development in Cheshire (East).

My client has been building high quality homes across some of the UK's most sought after locations for over 50 years.

You will manage a two-phase traditional build development of 130 prestigious 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes. The houses are a mix of town houses and detached homes.

Experienced Site Managers can expect a basic salary of up to £48,000 + package benefits. Package benefits include company car or £5k car allowance, company pension and bonus scheme.

Your skills knowledge and experience required include but not limited to:

New build residential experience is essential for the role

Previous experience working for national house builders is preferable

Able to embrace training

Attention to detail



Meeting deadlines

Ability to liaise with internal and external personnel

Ability to motivate and support staff

Strong communication skills

Qualifications and training - essential

Valid First Aid at Work certificate

Valid SMSTS certificate

CSCS Card at Site Manager Level

Qualifications and training - desirable

Valid Scaffold Appreciation certificate

NVQ Level 3-4, BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar


Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation

Trade experience and site experience preferable

Special requirements

Current full UK driving licence
