Job title: Site Manager

Location: Manchester

A privately owned construction company based in the North-West are currently looking to recruit a Site Manager for their upcoming housing scheme in Manchester.

My client have been established for over 60 years and have a good reputation and a low staff turnover; many of their employees have been with the company for over 30 years. They currently have 12 live residential schemes across the North-West of England. Their developments are a mix of bespoke, private rental, homes for open market and affordable homes built to NHBC and/or LABC standards.

Their upcoming development which is due to start in the New Year consists of 48 two, three and four bedroom timber frame units for open market sale. The build programme is approximately 80 weeks in total.

My client can offer a competitive salary and package for the right candidate.

Experience (Essential)

* New build housing experience as a number one Site Manager is essential
* Trade experience and site experience preferable
* Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation

Qualifications (Essential)

* CSCS Card at Site Manager Level
* Valid SMSTS certificate
* Valid First Aid at Work certificate

Qualifications and training - desirable

* NVQ Level 3-4, BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar
* Valid Scaffold Appreciation certificate

Special requirements

* Current full UK driving licence
