Responsive Manager



Our client is a social housing provider with a stock portfolio of over 15000 properties across the North West. They are a company which prides themselves on meeting the needs of their customers and providing them with an excellent level of service. The stock they have are reportedly in a good condition and have been kept modernized up to decent homes standard and beyond.

They currently have an opportunity for a Housing Maintenance professional to take on the role of Responsive Repairs Manager. The purpose of this role is to lead an element of the responsive repairs schemes with a value of up to £1million. In order to be successful at the role you will need to demonstrate past responsive experience within a social housing environment.

You will be expected to ensure the teams are utilized effectively and deliver an efficient and effective service, promoting a health and safety culture at all times. Proactively seeking overall performance improvements, you will monitor the work of both the team and of external contractors. You will also analyze trends, produce reports, carry out inspections and deal with budgetary matters. Your ability to problem solve and monitor KPI's such as first time response rates and fix first time statistics will also be of great importance.

The successful candidate will have a technical qualification in a building construction related discipline and experience of managing a similar operation with success. An excellent people manager, you must also be commercially aware with the ability to achieve results whilst leading a customer focused approach.
