Job Description
Job Title: Site ManagerLocation: Cheshire
One of the UK's largest and most reputable house builders are currently in the market for an experienced site manager.
This multi-award winning house builder have been established for over 50 years and currently turnover in excess of £1 billion. Over many years my client has consistently produced top quality houses and are a dominant force within the housing sector. Year on year my client and their site managers pick up multiple NHBC awards reflecting the consistency of the quality of build.
The vacancy for a number one site manager has emerged due to the growth and expansion of the company. My client have land secured for the next 5 years and have a number of exciting new developments in the pipeline.
You will be joining a fantastic and highly skilled team whose years of knowledge and experience will be on hand should you require it. Equally you will be expected to contribute your knowledge and experience back to the team. You will have a solid team of good quality tradespeople on site and will have the support of a highly motivated and keen assistant site manager.
Other benefits Inc. discretionary yearly bonus, car allowance, pension (contributory), private health care, gym membership and 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays.
You will be an ambitious and driven site manager and will take immense pride in the job. My client is looking for an individual who is eager to achieve NHBC awards as well as someone who takes pride in working for the company. You will be able to manage the site effectively, offering effective problem solving solutions and able to find the perfect balance between delivering quantity and quality.
Your skills knowledge and experience required include but not limited to:
New build residential experience is essential for the role
Previous experience working for national house builders is preferable
Strong communication skills
Ability to motivate and support staff
Ability to liaise with internal and external personnel
Meeting deadlines
Enthusiastic
Flexible
Attention to detail
Able to embrace training
Qualifications and training - essential
CSCS Card at Site Manager Level
Valid SMSTS certificate
Valid First Aid at Work certificate
Qualifications and training - desirable
NVQ Level 3-4, BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar
Valid Scaffold Appreciation certificate
Experience
Trade experience and site experience preferable
Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation
Special requirements
Current full UK driving licence
