New build Site Manager - Manchester


My client a well-established supplier of social housing is looking for an experienced new build site manager. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work with an award winning housing group.

They have acquired land on which they are looking to build affordable and social housing, and the land consists of plots for two and three bed houses. As part of a recruitment drive to bring in the right expertise, we are looking for a new build site manager to manage one of the region's sites.

Your skills knowledge and experience required include

An experienced capable and confidant personnel with experience in new build As well as being responsible for teams of Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers and Site Operatives, duties will include but not be limited to:

* Strong communication skills
* Ability to motivate support staff including other managers
* Meeting deadlines and budgets where appropriate
* Enthusiastic and attentive
* Attending meetings
* Ability to liaise with internal and external personnel including clients
* Familiar with using drawings

Qualifications and training required

* Valid SMSTS
* CSCS Card (manager)
* Valid First Aid at Work certificate

This is a temporary position for around 5-6 months role and will pay between £20-22 an hour. There is plenty of opportunity to move through this exciting company.
