Working with a growing contractor we have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager. My client are a privately owned design & build contractor who work in sectors including retail, commercial, health & education, hospitality & leisure, industrial and commercial fit out. They are growing year on year and will almost double their turnover by the close of this current financial year, with a real focus on repeat business.

Ahead of a number of new projects they have a requirement to add an experienced Site Manager to their team to oversee the successful delivery of projects up to a build cost of circa £3m.

Current project locations include North West, North Wales, Staffordshire, Midlands and South & East Yorkshire. With this in mind, applicants should note there could be a requirement to work 'away' from the North West, in the future.

It is expected that the successful applicant will be capable of running their own project on a day to day basis with the assistance of a visiting Contracts Manager.

As the number one Site Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of projects from inception to completion.

Candidates must have experience of delivering projects, as a number 1, with a minimum value of £3m.

Responsibilities include:

* Managing the project on site
* Managing the build program
* All inductions
* Managing all Health and Safety
* Working closely with all sub-contractors to ensure projects run on time.
* Liaising on all levels to ensure effective communication is always maintained.

It is essential that you hold SMSTS, CSCS, Asbestos Awareness and First Aid certificates.
